Our fee is based on a percentage of the candidate’s starting salary, with structured replacement policies to ensure long-term success.

Contract Placement

Organizations often need to augment their full-time staff with specialized resources or project-based expertise. Contract staffing provides the flexibility to scale teams efficiently, whether full-time headcount is unavailable or simply not required.

Spinnaker follows the same rigorous recruiting process as we do for direct-hire placements, but in contract engagements, the selected candidate becomes a Spinnaker associate. We handle all payroll and and employment administration, allowing our clients to focus on business priorities while we manage the back-office logistics. We bill clients on an hourly basis for the consultant’s services, with contract lengths typically ranging from 6 months to 18 months.

For companies seeking long-term options, Contract-to-Hire offers a low-risk pathway to full-time employment. Clients can assess a candidate’s performance and fit, while waiting for new FTE headcount to be available before making a permanent commitment. Our flexible conversion model includes a sliding-scale fee structure, allowing for seamless transitions, with no fee after six months of contracting.
